Owned by Hannah Beckman of Elgin, this boutique is a dream come true for her and the community. Originally from Lincoln, Hannah, along with her husband and newborn baby, feels incredibly blessed by the support and helping hands in the area. She believes that this venture wouldn't have been possible anywhere else.
Beloved, a boutique, a faith-based establishment, has been operating online since 2020 and is now expanding to its first physical location for its 5th anniversary. Hannah's background in fashion design and missionary work with Focus inspired her to create a space that combines her passions, starting with handmade jewelry and rosaries. Through prayer and divine inspiration, Beloved was born.

The boutique will offer modest and beautiful clothing, a space for bible studies, and the sale of devotionals. Hannah's mission is to empower everyone who walks through her doors to feel beautiful in their skin and foster a deeper connection with their creator.

Excited to engage with customers in person, Hannah looks forward to witnessing the joy on women's faces as they find pieces that resonate with them. She plans to host bible studies, women's nights, and speakers who will inspire faith and beauty. Beloved, a boutique, aims to be more than just a clothing store; it strives to create a meaningful and uplifting experience for all who enter.

Hannah's dedication to her work is commendable despite being a new mother. The community of Neligh eagerly anticipates the arrival of Beloved, a boutique, and the positive impact it will bring.​

The Annual Chamber of Commerce BBQ took place on August 3rd at Riverside Park. Over 900 people were served. Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time to put the BBQ on and to this years sponsors, Sargent Irrgation, 319 Graphics, Two Rivers Irrigation/Carquest, Stealth Broadband, TC Engery, and Antelope County Visitors Promotion. 

Trent Hoefer was awarded Father of the Year. He received a candy boutique from the Neligh Flower Shop, $50 giftcard from Bomgaars, and $25 Chamber Big Bucks. 

Mallory Belitz was awarded the Neligh Chamber of Commerce Scholarship.

FBLA students along with instructor Lisa Hanson, board member, Rich Burgess, and community members, Curtis Borer and Hunter Maly assisted in setting up the Christmas Light Display at the courthouse on November 12th. Thank you to city employees for delivering the display and nativity scene.

Mrs. Hanzel's Neligh Oakdale's 2022-2023 6th grade class spent a few hours cleaning up the rainbow garden pulling weeds, cutting trees, picking up trash, and washing the deck of the Tourism Center during the city wide clean up in May. A volunteer, Amanda Elder, spent a few days planting new filler flowers to add to the beautification of the Rainbow Fountain. Thank you Amanda for your dedication to the Neligh Community!   

Ladies Night Out was held Wednesday, May 9, 203 from 5:00-7:00pm. Rural Route One, Razor's Edge, Neligh Legion, Sly's Bar & Grill, Adorn, River Mill Coffee Co., Shamrock Nursery, Neligh Flower Shop, and Lucky Joe's Liquor were all open to allow the ladies to shop and grab a bite to eat. 

While the Chamber Office prepared for the updates that are soon to come, a small gem was found in an unlikely place. Hiding in an old filing cabinet that appeared to be empty was discovered an old worn book that had a metal divider keeping it buried away. After close inspection, it was discovered to be the missing original link for the Chamber's history. In this book, we learned that the Chamber has not always been known at the Neligh Chamber of Commerce. It use to be a men only group called the Neligh Commercial Club and originated in 1913. Through years, it transitioned into the Chamber we know today. With this find, we were able to finally complete the missing part of our newest logo, the establish date. We are thrilled with this find and for being able to connect our chamber back to its origins. 

We are thrilled for our Chamber Member, Pinnacle Bank, on their Grand Opening! After many months of work and progress, their patience paid off as they were able to celebrate the opening of the newly remodeled bank! It was a beautiful celebration with many local bank members, partners, and businesses! Congratulations to Pinnacle Bank! 

Neligh is the flag day capital of the world! The city celebrated by placing marking flags of the American Flag next to the Highway by the Chamber and ED Office. The Neligh Young Men's Club also put up flags all around town. A big thank you to all the volunteers who spent the time putting up the flags to help our community celebrate! 

After the help of many volunteers to clean up Rainbow Fountain Garden, Neligh-Oakdale Public School Ag. Classes came down to help replant the Garden. With their help, the whole garden was able to be planted in one day! "Shovels in hand, dirt under our nails, and plants in the ground. It all makes for a good day," said NOPS FFA Advisor Ms. Burnside.
